Transport

Feet are made for walking, so come on chaps use them. We are only ten minutes drive away from Billingshurst train station so if you are planning a quite holiday away in our beautiful woodland why not consider taking the train? We can supply a list of friendly local cabs who will be more than happy to whisk you up to Shadow Woods.
Keeping warm
Each Yurt has a cosy outdoor fire area where you can toast your toes and marshmallows by the light of the silvery moon. We provide the fire wood from our Coppicing and Woodland management activities.
Water Management
We have mains water on site but do ask that you use it responsibly. The eco showers are a wonderful way to freshen up and they can be heated by sunshine.
Our tree bogs are state of the art compost loos that also produce a mass of willow at the end of the season.
Re use and recycle
We are diligent wombles and recycle where ever we can. So please look out for the recycling containers on site and remember our motto
   "Leave only ripples”
We have a lovely permaculture garden in the pipe line so all green waist is used to make compost that will give all our seedlings the best start in life, the worms love it too.
All our company literature is printed on recycled paper products. Even better opt out of paper correspondence and let’s use the email and give the snails a break.
Community
We are working at forging lasting links with local groups including schools collages and charities working with disadvantaged kids. All are welcome here.
