By the very nature of the venue it is not an entirely risk free. We take all reasonable measure to maintain a safe environment and make sure that all campers have received comprehensive safety instructions on arrival.

Each Yurt has a safety information sheet in your welcome pack that we ask you read on your arrival.

There is a first aid box situated in the camp kitchen which contains the basics equipment should the need arise.

Our on site staff are all health and safety trained and hold full first aid certificates.

Due to the secluded setting of Shadow Woods we have in place an Emergency procedure which can be found in your welcome pack.

If you have any questions about the use of any of the equipment please ask us, we will be more than happy to help.

We hold a comprehensive public liability insurance through the Institute of Outdoor Learning.
