Just a quick mail letting you know what a lovely weekend we had. It's a very special place you have there and we all enjoyed it immensely. Very refreshing. Hope we can come back again sometime, possibly looking into dates for yurts, but we'll have to see if everyone can synchronise for a more substantial stay...
Thank you again,
Kind regards
Mark and the chaps. March 2012
The Yurts are brilliant, full of character and had just about everything one could wish for, the pace of life really slowed. The woods really are wonderful both in the rain and in the sunshine, both very different but each with their own feel and mood.

For something a little different a lovely Indian style Safari tent, great for a family of four.
For those less adventurous check out the Wild Flower Meadow Cabin, a beautiful oak and glass structure with its own kitchenette and shower room.
Looking for a break with a difference? ‘The Magic Bus' a stylishly converted single decker bus.
Bushcraft and Nature Awareness sessions available, learn about the history of Shadow Woods and the people who lived here, join in a charcoal burn, collect some wild food and even learn to light a fire without a lighter!
All our accomodation is furnished with comfy beds and simple furniture. You will find tucked away in a corner your own kitchen box containing crocks, pots and utensils for cooking.
