Our Glamping Acommodation -
All our Glamping accommodation come with cosy bedding including quilts and blankets. The units all have an outdoor camp kitchen. We supply a ‘box of crocks’ containing cups, plates, bowls, pots, pans, kettle, cutlery and a range of kitchen utensils. On arrival a member of our team will welcome you and give you your ‘Camp Kit’ comprising of a large camping halogen lamp, a small one ring camping stove (so you do not have to light a fire to make your morning cupper) a small camping heater, (Gas not include available for purchase as per extras on the website) a large cool box with frozen pack that we can exchange should you require a new one.
Outside your accommodation there is your own washing up area sheltered with a large garden umbrella and cold running water and a fire bowl for cooking on which doubles as your fire pit. You get one load of wood included in your booking, that you will find by your accommodation and we have bags of charcoal made on site available for you to purchase. Shadow Woods charcoal is made from the Hornbeam whose country name is candle wood, it burns hot and long, the best charcoal in Sussex! We have the most stylish compost toilets and an outdoor solar heated shower area as well as a small ablutions block with disabled lavatory and two hot showers.
The Wild Flower Meadow Cabin: sleeps 2-6. The Meadow Cabin is a self contained, open plan, oak unit situated on the edge of the wild flower meadow a short way through the woods. Here we have provided a double bed, a double sofa bed and twin beds on a mezzanine (not suitable for small children). It has a kitchenette with a two ring gas burner, a microwave oven and a fridge. There is a small shower room as well as mains electricity and a wood burner for those chilly evenings. Outside there is a private seating area, fire pit and BBQ. Please note the meadow Cabin is NOT in the Yurting meadow. It is over by the Wild Flower Meadow a few minutes’ walk through the woods.
The Magic Bus: sleeps 2. We have a beautifully restored single decker bus. The bus is fully kitted out with a double bed, kitchen, shower and living area.
